What is the Cans for Habitat program?
Cans for Habitat is an aluminum can recycling program sponsored by the metal
industry and Habitat for Humanity. Proceeds raised through this recycling
effort go toward funding additional Habitat for Humanity Homes.
Materials/services provided by Habitat for Humanity:
· Collection containers (heavy-duty cardboard, about 3 feet tall by 2 feet
wide)
· Liners (heavy-duty to prevent leakage)
· Habitat volunteers provide the pick-up service
What we need from you:
· Contact person who will be responsible for coordinating the program at your
organization
· List of locations for collection containers
· Desired collection schedule (generally once a week)
